I know a lot of savvy gun people who are big fans of CZ pistols, but they focus on the metal-framed CZ-75s, for the most part, and ignore the polymer-framed CZ P07. That’s a shame, because it’s a heck of a pistol for a good price, and it’s just recently been updated.
I am going to do my best to describe what it is like to shoot this pistol to this round count. Now just to get it out of the way, you get the pistol with two mags, two backstraps, a manual safety conversion kit, a cleaning brush and patch rod, a lock, and a test target with a manual. And all this is secured in a black plastic box, secured by golden plastic tabs, with the CZ logo on the front for an MSRP of $530.
My wife and I visited Buds Gun Shop last week and I had the opportunity to hold a CZ P07. I was very impressed with the way it felt, I could tell it was a very high quality firearm especially for the low price of $439 new in box. I have never owned or even seen a newer CZ firearm around here, and I have read that CZ is fairly new to manufacturing polymer firearms. I am mainly concerned about how well the P07 will hold up to long term use. I haven't seen any comments concerning this. Does anyone have any experience with this firearm?
